Plymouth Roadrunner (superbird)

The next car is not much to talk about. The Plymouth Roadrunner Superbird.

 This car has also played a major roll in the animation business. The Superbird has been featured as "The King" in the animated movie "Cars". The King was a baby blue Superbird who is known for winning many races.

Next is performance. The performance of the car is relatively the same. So we will now move on to one of the most important. The body and style.

The body and style are very unique. The most noticable and important is the huge wing on the back. And another is it being pointed at the headlights. Now it is time for my personal rating.

This car has also had a huge impact in both animation and the real world. And with its unique body style. So my personal rating is 9.75. 

Plymouth Roadrunner

The next car we will talk about has an impact on many things. It has impacted animated television. Its horn is what is famous. The Plymouth Superbird.

The Plymouth Superbird has impacted the famous kids cartoon "Looney Toons." The Roadrunner in the cartoon with the famous "meep meep" is from the sound that the horn makes.

Next is the performance of the car. The zero to sixty speed for the Roadrunner is 6.3 seconds. The quarter mile speed is 13.9. And a top speed of one hundred and fifty miles per hour.

Next is the body. In 1970 the roadrunner took a complete makeover. It got a new grille. And it also got a new body style along with the grille. Finally my personal rating.

The car had a major impact with it being created. The personal rating is .......................................... an 8.

'71 Challenger

This next car is my absolute favorite. It was made by Dodge and has a brother. The Charger. The car is the Challenger. And it is one great car and maybe the best car ever made by Dodge.

The Dodge Challenger featured a 318 cubic inch 3.69 liter engine. The engine allowed for a two barrel carburetor an single exhaust. It was offered in the 1970-1971 Challenger models. Next is the body.

The Dodge Challenger was also available in a convertible. Which served a great purpose in the 70's. It also featured an SE rear window. Which was a curved rectangle. Finally is specs.

The challenger was really a great car. It was made for a certian purpose. And i was on of the great cars that was ever invented.

So my personal rating for this car is a 9 considering it is my favorite car.

'71 Corvette Stingray

Our next car you might have heard of. It has been just put back in to production. Chevy takes the credit for this awesome piece of machinery. It is the Chevy Corvette Stingray. And it is one great ride.

It's 350 cu in 5.7 liter engine was featured. Its horsepower was sadly decreased from 300 to 270 horsepower but still a lot. But a later optional model HP engine was accepted to increase horsepower to 370. Which was built by GM. Next is the speed.  

0-60 speed time was 7.1 seconds. The 0-100 speed time is 19.8 seconds. The corvette height was 47.9 inches in total from tire to roof. The length is 182 inches. next is the body style and specs.

The Corvette body had a coke bottle like many other cars. Include the Mustang. The total weight is 3596 pounds. it was also avalible in a convertible. Finally my personal rating.

The corvette was an amazing car. It could be regarded as one of the best muscle cars of all time my rating is an 8.

1969 Camaro Z28

The third car is made by a legendary automotive company. This company is famous today for their trucks. But back in the day, they were known for their muscle cars. The company. Chevrolet. The car. Camero.

The Chevy Camero had many engines. One of the was the 327 cubic inch V8. Camero had 290 horsepower. It also had a duel 4 barrel exhaust installed already. These exhaust pipes were in fact the least restricted by Chevy at the time. 

The 0-60 speed was 7.4 seconds. Total weight for the car is 3,765 pounds. With it was a fresh take to mach the Mustang at the time and it closely resembles it in speed. Next is body style.

The Camaro had real wheel drive like the competing Mustang and Chevy's Nova. The Camaro also had a four wheel configuration. Like the Mustang. Now we are on to everyone's favorite. My personal rating.

In conclusion, the Camaro has a better performance. That is why its rating is .................................................................................................. an 8.

1967 Pontiac Firebird

Our second car is from a company known for his car. They were then old by GM to stop manufacturing cars. The company Pontiac  went out in 2010. There famous car is the Pontiac Firebird. And it was a great car.

One of the engines was the 326 cu in Pontiac V8 HO. The HO in the engine means High Output and gave it better performance.This engine features 280 horsepower . It also allowed for a duel exhaust and a four cylinder carburetor. The engine was last sold in 1967.

The top speed was 115 mph. and is 0-60 speed varied from 5 to 10 seconds. And the total weight of the car is an average 3,000 pounds. An transmission was a three speed. Now on the design.

The design was recognized as a Pontiacized Camero. Bu it still has its unique features. the two door was supposed to be a continuation of the Pontiac Banshee. It has what is called a "coke bottle design." This gave a sleek design t a car. And that is part of the Firebird legacy. 

In conclusion the Firebird has a better performance than the Mustang. So my personal rating is an 8. 

1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1

 Today we will be talking about the first car in our line up. This car was made by Ford and came when muscle cars were getting to be popular. It is the 1973 Ford Mustang Boss. 

The car's engine was Ford's 351 V8 Cleveland engine. This was a engine part of the 335 engine family. The engine family was a small block V8 engine that was built by the Ford motor company. The were nicknames Cleveland after the factory that produced them in Cleveland, Ohio. The engine gave the vehicle 288 horse power.

The top speed for this mustang was 86 mph. Its 0-60 time was 9.9 seconds. Today, this cars speed really isn't that good compared to others. It's fuel economy was 17.1 miles per gallon. Now time to the model design.

The most noticeable feature is the NASA inspired hood.It had two hood scooped. The enlarged bumper was added to meet the requirements of safety. The rear bumper was added to something called impact absorbing extensions. This caused the bumper to stick out from the body.

In conclusion, the speed of the mustang is not very good, but the engine seemed to have a bit of power. With the various additions to the body gave it a unique body. My personal rating for the car is a .......  7.
